    Yawkey Center for Cancer Care

Becker's Hospital Review has named Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center (DF/BWCC) to its 2014 "100 Hospitals and Health Systems with Great Oncology Programs."

Becker's annual list recognizes hospitals that are leaders in cancer research, outcomes, and quality patient care.

Earlier this month, U.S. News & World Report ranked DF/BWCC as the highest in New England for cancer care and No. 4 in the country as part of its "Best Hospitals 2015" guide.

In June, U.S. News ranked Dana-Farber/Boston Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Center the No. 1 pediatric cancer program in the country.

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute also recently earned Magnet status from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for the third time. This prestigious designation recognizes excellence in nursing and patient care, and has been given to only 7 percent of hospitals worldwide.

Becker's is one of the leading sources for healthcare industry trade publications, providing business and legal information for healthcare leaders. Its annual Hospital Review is comprised of hospitals and health systems that have been recognized by U.S. News, the National Cancer Institute, and the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, among others. The full list of hospitals recognized on the list is available here.
