Fencing for Fitness

Fencing for Fitness is an innovative exercise and wellness program dedicated to enhancing the lives of patients with cancer.

Recent studies have shown that moderate physical activity may improve the quality of life, mood, and physical well-being of cancer patients during and after treatment.

Fencing is a complex sport that involves foot work, lunges, and escape moves. It develops physical coordination, strength, concentration, and overall fitness.

This free program offers a comprehensive aerobic workout combined with group fencing classes. This is done in a supportive, non-competitive environment that encourages participation in a group setting, but it is also tailored to each person's age, abilities, and limitations.
