Interpreters

Dana-Farber provides interpreting services for patients whose first language is not English. This free service is available to all adult and pediatric patients and their family members.

Patients and families can request an interpreter for any activity at Dana-Farber, including registration, booking appointments, attending treatments and exams, support groups, and meetings with doctors and other members of your health care team.

Our interpreters can also help translate documents such as letters, forms, and medical instructions.

We have full-time staff interpreters who are fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. For other languages, we can arrange for interpreters to work with patients, family members, and health care providers either in person or by phone.
