Caregiver Resources at Dana-Farber

Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center offers a wide range of programs and services to assist you with the challenges of cancer and caregiving.

The Family Connections Program at Dana-Farber provides information and resources for parents diagnosed with cancer. Help is also available for other family members and adults who care for children of cancer patients. Call 617-632-3301.

Licensed social workers provide supportive counseling to patients and their loved ones. They can help you deal with difficult emotions, feelings of depression or anxiety, or the challenges of home and work. Call 617-632-3301.

The One-to-One program will connect you with another caregiver who can provide information and support. Get support from an experienced caregiver via telephone.

Specialists in the Pain and Palliative Care program can help patients and their families maximize quality of life at any stage in their illness. Resource Specialists can help you find community resources such as transportation and short-term accommodations. They can also help with applications for financial assistance from MassHealth, Social Security Disability, and other programs. To learn more, call 617-632-3301.

The Blum Resource Center, located in the Dana building lobby, has a selection of books, CDs, and other helpful resources for information about cancer.
