    New DF/BWCC Program Physician in Waldenström's Macroglobulinemia

    The Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center (DF/BWCC) Bing Center for Waldenström's Macroglobulinemia is pleased to welcome Jorge Castillo, MD, as program physician.

    Dr. Castillo received his MD from Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana, Mexico City, Mexico. He completed his post-educational training in Internal Medicine at the University of Massachusetts and in Hematology-Oncology at Brown University.

    Dr. Castillo has served as chief medical resident at the University of Massachusetts and, most recently, as an assistant professor of Medicine and of Hematology/Oncology at Brown. He is a highly regarded physician and teacher who is respected by both his patients and peers, and has a strong publication track record in prominent peer-reviewed hematology/oncology journals.

    Dr. Castillo's training, commitment to medical education, and contributions to publications evidence a promising career track as a clinical educator and investigator at Dana-Farber and as an assistant professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
