Green Beans with Hazelnuts



  • 1 1/2 pounds fresh green beans
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/3 cup chopped hazelnuts, toasted


  1. Wash and trim beans. Meanwhile bring large pot of water to a boil. Place beans in pot and cook until tender (about 5 to 8 minutes). Drain beans and place in large bowl.
  2. Add olive oil, lemon zest, and hazelnuts. Toss to coat the beans. Add pepper if desired.
