Robin Reibel
Robin Reibel, a native of Miami Beach, Fla., moved to Boston in
1972 to attend Boston University. She began her career in public
relations at Diane Davis Associates. Later she worked in media
relations at local television station WCVB-TV, where she met her
husband Bruce Drucker. They live in Sharon, Mass., and have two
daughters, Lacey and Alexandra.
Robin currently works for Macy's in Boston as Vice President
/Event Development for New England, after serving for more than 20
years as head of public relations and special events for Filene's
Department Store. During her time at Filene's, Robin worked on many
of the Friends' "Flights of Fancy" galas, several of which were
actually held at the store itself. "It was a labor of love, and
always one of the most special and worthwhile events of the year,"
Robin remembers, "and, of course, an opportunity to connect with
many terrific people at the Friends - especially my wonderful
friend, Jean Pearlstein."
It was through Jean that Robin became more involved with the
Friends and the Board, where she hopes to work on membership
development.
Robin is also a member of the Corporate Executive Council at
WGBH, Boston's public television station, and is also on the board
of the Downtown Crossing Partnership.
