Sandra Krakoff is a member of the Executive Committee of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. She is also a member of several other trustee committees, including Science, Corporations and Foundations, and Gift Planning.
Krakoff is a retired legal placement consultant and has been professionally involved with education and human resources for the past 25 years. She was the managing director of the Katharine Gibbs School in Connecticut for three years. Upon relocating to Boston, she joined Alan R. Stone, Esq. Attorney Placement Consultants as partner. In 1999, Vedior International acquired the firm, and she became executive vice president of the expanded firm, where she remained until 2001.
She now devotes her time to Dana-Farber, the Advisory Board of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the Board of the Morse Geriatric Center in West Palm Beach, Fla., the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, as well as other charitable fundraising activities. Krakoff also mentors women entrepreneurs on an ongoing basis. She is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a BA in journalism and advertising.
Krakoff has been a member of the Board of Trustees of Dana-Farber since 1995.
