Dana-Farber/New Hampshire Oncology-Hematology (Dana-Farber/NHOH) held a reception to celebrate the five-year anniversary of the cancer center’s founding in Londonderry, New Hampshire.

"We have reached a great milestone in the relationship between Dana-Farber and NHOH as we celebrate our fifth anniversary in Londonderry," said Jeanna Walsh, MD, medical director at Dana-Farber/New Hampshire Oncology-Hematology. "I have watched with pride the growth and development of this clinic and its connection to Dana-Farber in Boston. The opportunities that this link offers patients and providers will only grow in the future."

The cancer center opened in 2008. Patients have access to the latest medical treatment and an array of support services, including genetic screening and counseling, nutrition counseling, a resource area for patients and families, and pastoral care. Laboratory and diagnostic services are also conveniently located at the facility.

"Since the opening of Dana-Farber/NHOH in Londonderry, we’ve been providing very sophisticated cancer care in a community setting," said Andrew Norden, MD, MPH, medical director of Satellites and Network Affiliates at Dana-Farber. "We’re proud to celebrate five years of helping our patients in southern New Hampshire access Dana-Farber's resources without traveling to Boston."

"We all take great pride in bringing the best cancer care to New Hampshire, so there is a real sense of excitement as we celebrate our fifth anniversary," said Jodi Thiele, RN, BSN, MBA, OCN, operations director at DF/NHOH. "Oncology is an ever changing field and we look forward to the next five years to see what advancements we can bring to our patients."
