Local television reporter Victoria Warren to join Dana-Farber Cancer Institute

    Victoria Warren, a reporter at WHDH television, will be joining Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Department of Communications, effective June 18. 

    Warren will serve as a senior media relations associate, working with reporters interested in cancer and using her storytelling and television experience to highlight the Institute’s leading expertise in research and care.

    “For 20 years it has been my honor and privilege to tell incredible stories and find the humanity in every type of situation,” said Warren. “Now, to be able to use my skills as part of the wonderful team at Dana-Farber is a tremendous and inspiring opportunity.”

    “We are thrilled to have Victoria help us explain Dana-Farber’s exciting work, and to bring the amazing stories of our patients, families and staff to more people,” said Steven R. Singer, chief communications officer.  “We look forward to having her energy, enthusiasm, and talent on our team.”

    Warren has been an on-air senior reporter at WHDH Television since 2006.  Prior to that, she was an on-air reporter and anchor at various television stations in Jacksonville, FL; Omaha, NE; and Medford, OR markets. She attended Northwestern University (Chicago) and received a BS in journalism.
