Monica Fulton, RN, BSN, MBA

Nurse Program Leader

A native New Englander, Monica Fulton returns to Dana-Farber after years garnering experience in both the patient care and administrative side of the cancer care field. Fulton earned a BSN from Rhode Island College in Providence, RI, and an MBA from Loyola University in Baltimore, MD. She was previously a research nurse at Dana-Farber for three years, and then, from 1997-2002, was the nurse program leader for Johns Hopkins Hospital as they opened an inpatient and ambulatory cancer clinic in Singapore. "It was a great experience," said Fulton. "It was an opportunity to be exposed to a different culture and to see how they approached cancer care."

Fulton worked with the construction crew along with patients and families to be sure the new clinic space was patient- and family-friendly. "The construction crew was a pleasure to work with," said Fulton, "and the entire staff is thrilled with the opening of the new clinic space. We are all very much looking forward to the new, enhanced quality of space and environment for patients, families and staff." Monica can be reached at (617) 983-7774 or monica_fulton@dfci.harvard.edu.
