Dana-Farber/Partners CancerCare

In 1996, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the founding members of Partners Healthcare System, Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, consolidated their adult oncology programs and clinical research under Dana-Farber/Partners CancerCare. In doing so, they created the largest cancer-care system in the United States, and the three Dana-Farber/Partners CancerCare hospitals serve more than 12,000 new cancer patients annually.

Patient care is provided at two campuses-at the combined campuses of Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston's Longwood Medical Area, and at Massachusetts General Hospital in downtown Boston.

At the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's campus, patients receive outpatient care in newly renovated clinics at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and inpatient care at dedicated facilities across the street at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Patients are cared for by the same group of physicians in both settings. At Massachusetts General Hospital, patients receive outpatient services in a newly renovated Cancer Center and inpatient services in the adjoining hospital.

Regardless of which campus patients select, they receive the highest standard of care from some of the nation's leading cancer specialists, and have access to the same innovative treatments offering the best possible outcomes.
