A Letter to CaringBridge, an organization sponsored by Dana-Farber/Brigham and Woman's Cancer Center that offers free, easy-to-create Web sites that keep friends and family connected when a loved one is receiving medical care.
I am very grateful for this site (www.caringbridge.org).
It is a stress-free way for me to learn about my niece's condition, and it has made a big difference for my brother and sister-in-law, who created the site for their daughter. By having this site, it allows me to check in multiple times throughout the day on the status of my family member who is being treated. It is helpful because it eliminates my calling the family every day, since I know they are extremely busy at this trying time in their lives.
Keep up the great work, CaringBridge and Dana-Farber - you certainly have made my life much easier.
