  • Network Technician - (3060662)

    Under the direction of the Corp. Team Leader Desktop Services, the Network Technician provides level 2 technical support to Partners HealthCare Information Systems (IS) departments, medical practices and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) end-user community in regards to Partners HealthCare managed devices. Managed devices include, but are not limited to, desktop workstations, laptops, tablets, monitors, network printers, local printers, label printers, wristband printers, prescription printers, document scanners, barcode scanners and other peripheral devices.

    Responsibilities include operational support for production systems, key business applications and desktop resources; the Partners eCare (PeC) environment, printer and workstation inventories and mappings; as well as software installation, network connectivity testing, troubleshooting, hardware deployment, moves & changes and ticket documentation.

    Data Warehouse Developer/Analyst - (3059287)

    Data Warehouse Developer / Analyst sought by Partners Healthcare, Inc., overseer of the affiliation of Boston-area healthcare institutions, to employ best practices in design, implementation, support, and enhancements of current and future healthcare data warehouse applications. Build complex ETL mappings using a variety of tools to source data from other systems and provide custom data marts to support specific user needs. Define data requirements and efficiently manage the acquisition of clinical, research, administrative and financial data. Create, maintain and enhance data warehouse ETL design documentation including business requirements specifications and technical specifications. Oversee ETL environment to ensure that it can meet data volume, performance and security requirements. Create and execute test plans using end-user success criteria as a guide. Establish templates so all ETL code meets standards and can be supported/enhanced by any team member with little to no subject matter knowledge transfer. Automate and administrate jobs using available enterprise scheduling tools. Prepare migration document and perform table imports, mapping migration and workflow promotion from development environments to production. Coordinate resources on multiple support, project and analysis efforts; may include managing agile meetings and working with colleagues to prioritize and delegate work. Provide direction and guidance to team members to facilitate high quality and timely delivery of work. Partner with users and other warehouse and technical staff to drive major projects like complex data mart creations and system upgrades to successful completion. Act as liaison to user groups. Establish and document guidelines and best practices to follow in development and support of the data warehouse. Perform impact analysis when changes in source systems or user requirements occur. Work with source system owners to understand data properties and check for data quality issues. Translate business specifications to technical requirements. Plan and manage necessary upgrades to data warehouse infrastructure. Prepare written materials for use in presentations, meetings and final project documentation.
