Support for the Caregiver’s Journey: Sharing Your Journey Through Story(2)
12:00 PM-1:30 PM
Blum Resource Center Yawkey One
Event Type: Support Groups, Calendar
When someone receives a life-challenging diagnosis, they set out on a journey they did not choose and would rather not take. When a loved one chooses to walk that path by their side as a caregiver, they too are thrust into life-changing experiences that one may never have anticipated. In this workshop, we will uncover the common paths that caregivers walk, and leave with new tools and insights to sustain us through this time in our lives.

Lani Peterson is a psychologist, life coach and professional storyteller who specializes in the use of story for personal growth, connection and change. Whether telling a story or listening to the story of another, Lani guides participants to mindfully explore their own journey.,. leading to insight, understanding and acceptance.
