Monthly Spotlights
Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
More than 60 years ago, Dana-Farber began as a research foundation to treat children with cancer. Sidney Farber, MD, started the country's first research program in chemotherapy for children with cancer, and his influence still resonates throughout Dana-Farber today. Like Dr. Farber, the Institute is committed to providing pediatric patients with compassionate, state-of-the-art treatment while pursuing cutting-edge research into better therapies.
In the spirit of Dana-Farber's history and in honor of our youngest patients and their families, we are supporting efforts to raise awareness of Childhood Cancer Awareness month this September. Presented below are patient stories, research news, and resources about pediatric cancer.
