Sarcoma is a cancer of the bone or connective tissue (muscle, fat, nerves, etc.) in the body. Because these types of tissue are all over the anatomy, sarcomas can form almost anywhere. They arise most often in the arms and legs, internal organs, and trunk or mid-section.
