Margaret Bane joined the Friends of Dana Farber Board in 2023 following an incredible and successful Dana-Farber patient experience.
She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Arizona, and a Masters Degree in Special Education from DePaul University. Following her studies, she worked in the Chicago and Boston public school systems, as well as in a private sector education tech company.
As a breast cancer survivor and a mother of two young boys, she has developed a passion for holistic and preventative wellness. Her work includes partnering with schools and private clients to help broaden understanding of the critical importance of eliminating harmful toxins at home while providing whole-food nutrition guidance.
Margaret lives in Chestnut Hill, MA with her husband Harrison and their two young boys.
