MaryBeth has supported the Friends board for more than 10 years, attending events such as the gala, Chefs Cooking for Hope, and Saks Key to the Cure. MaryBeth became interested in joining the Friends board when her nephew was diagnosed with synovial cell sarcoma three years ago. She witnessed firsthand the amazing treatment and care that her nephew received from Dana Farber, and knew she wanted to play a bigger role in raising money for patient care and the research needed to help find a cure for cancer.
