Michelle Mahaney Kubec
Michelle Mahaney Kubec became acquainted with the Friends of Dana-Farber while working on the silent auction of the Friends' Cooking for Hope event with a close friend, co-worker and fellow Board member, Kristienne Rassiger. She decided to volunteer because "I have had several close friends and family members whose lives have been impacted by cancer and the mission of the Friends struck a cord in that so much of its fundraising efforts are allocated towards patient services."
Michelle was married to Ken Kubec in August, 2002, and they particularly enjoy visiting family in Syracuse, N.Y., and Cleveland, Ohio. Michelle says, "It is an honor to be a member of the Friends' Board and a part of such a great organization of people fighting for a common cause."
