Outreach Committee

The Outreach Committee is responsible for Leadership Council-wide communication, as well as keeping current membership strong and engaged, and actively and strategically growing membership. Additionally, the Outreach Committee serves as a liaison for new members to the Leadership Council, and as the link between the various committees and the Leadership Council's members, making sure that all members know about the goings-on, events and opportunities to get involved with the Council.
The Outreach Committee is comprised of the following three sub-committees:
Communications
- oversees new member communication and introductions
- develops organizational materials, documents and Web content
- provides comprehensive and frequent membership communications about Council events and news
Retention
- fosters member enthusiasm for the Council and Dana-Farber
- maintains contact with the membership
- develops content for quarterly meetings
- develops programming that meets the needs of membership (programmatic, social, volunteer, etc.)
Recruitment
- identifies and reaches out to prospective members
- welcomes new members
- facilitates recruitment initiated by other Council members, so that the Council continues to grow annually
