Organized by our Palm Beach office and devoted volunteers, the following events raise funds to support patient care and cutting-edge research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. These annual events also introduce new supporters in Southern Florida to the mission of Dana-Farber. Learn more about each event below.
Kick-Off Party
January 14, 2009
Hosted by Tom Quick and Institute Trustee Phyllis Krock, this festive evening led off the Palm Beach season with another spectacular fashion presentation by Giorgio Armani. Dame Celia Lipton Farris was honorary chairwoman for the evening. Donors at the benefactor level or above were invited to this dazzling evening.
Breakfast with the Doctors

The annual seminar, in its eighth year, was once again hosted and underwritten by Vicki and Arthur Loring and Institute Trustee Judie Schlager and her husband Larry. Distinguished physicians from Dana-Farber held an informative forum on the latest breakthroughs in cancer research.
Pre-Ball Dinner

This casual evening of food and entertainment at The Breakers in the Circle Ballroom was hosted and underwritten by Sheila Palandjian and the Palandjian family. Donors and sponsors at the bronze level and above were invited to meet with noted physicians from Dana-Farber.
Discovery Ball

DFCI Discovery Ball's 18th anniversary featured an elegant evening of dinner and dance at The Breakers. Honorary Chairs were Institute Trustee Michele Kessler and her husband Howard, with Patrick Park as Vice Chair.

This elegant evening was at the home of Patrick Park, Vice Chair of the 2009 Discovery Ball. The event honored major contributors to Dana-Farber's 18th annual Discovery Ball.
