Dr. Benz on Annual Report to the Nation on Status of Cancer
Edward J. Benz, Jr., MD, president of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, comments on the findings of the Annual Report to the Nation on the Status of Cancer. He notes that while there is good news in the continuing decline in the rate of cancer deaths, there are increases in cancers associated with lifestyle factors. He notes that the risk of many cancers can be reduced with changes to diet and level of exercise.
