World Cancer Day points to prevention
Approximately one third of cancer deaths worldwide are tied to lifestyle
and diet, making them largely preventable. The theme of the 2012 World
Cancer Day is prevention; the goal is to raise cancer awareness around
the world and help devise strategies to fight the disease. Dana-Farber's
Judy Garber, MD, MPH, talks about global cancer education and the steps
individuals can take to reduce their cancer risk.
