A new study shows that survivors of childhood cancers may be at higher
than average risk of gastrointestinal complications such as ulcers and
secondary cancers later in life. Lisa Diller, MD, director of the Perini Family Survivors Center
at Dana-Farber and senior author of the study, discusses the findings
and explains why it's important for childhood cancer survivors and their
doctors to be vigilant of changes in health.
