Beyond Cancer: Celebrating Survivorship
The Gillette Center for Women's Cancers at Dana-Farber is proud to host this conference devoted to the medical and psychosocial needs of women surviving breast and gynecologic cancers.
Beyond Cancer: Celebrating Survivorship provides updates on the newest treatment options; advice on coping with menopause, sexuality, and intimacy; and guidance about the challenges of returning to one's life after cancer. In addition, the event allows women the opportunity to realize they are not alone.
This program has been running for the past three years with our participants and their loved ones filling the rooms. Responses and evaluations by the attendees have indicated that patients would prefer separate conferences for breast cancer survivors and for gynecologic cancer survivors to address more specific needs. As a result, we are pleased to announce that Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center will offer two patient conferences.
