Cinnamon Roasted Almonds
Ingredients
- 1 egg white
- 1 tsp cold water
- 4 cups whole almonds (or mixed nuts)
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat oven to 250°F. Spray 10x15 inch jellyroll pan with cooking spray.
- Lightly beat the egg white. Add water and beat until frothy but not stiff.
- Add the nuts and stir until coated.
- Mix sugar, salt and cinnamon together. Sprinkle mixture over nuts and toss to coat.
- Spread nuts evenly on prepared pan. Bake for 1 hour, until golden. Stir occasionally. Allow nuts to cool before storing in airtight containers.
Yield
Makes 16 servings.
