Nutrition Tip

Protein provides the building blocks for muscle and is essential for keeping up energy levels and improving immune function. Eggs are a great source of low-cost, high-quality protein, providing approximately 6 grams of protein per egg. But that's not all. Eggs pack in more than just protein. Egg whites are an excellent source of protein and riboflavin. Egg yolks are a good source of protein, iron, vitamins A and D, phosphorus, and choline. Choline is a key component of cell membranes, and is particularly important for brain function and health.
