A Women's Spirituality Discussion and Support Series

Sponsored by Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Department of Pastoral Care

Shared Journeys is an interfaith series for women patients of Dana-Farber, creating a supportive, non-judgmental space for women to share their sacred stories with one another.

Each session will focus on a particular spiritual theme, and include a speaker followed by time for small-group discussions. A buffet dinner is included, and free parking is available.

How do we use art, music, writing, and other creative forms to express ourselves and our spirituality? How have our individual creative lives changed during each of our cancer journeys?

Finding Peace & Sacredness in the Moment

How do we find peace in the "here and now"? What is sacred in our daily experiences? How do we experience a sense of forgiveness and self-acceptance?

Our Many Roles: Finding Personal Balance

At any point in our lives, and especially during times of illness, we can find ourselves caring for others at the same time that we are receiving care as well. How do we balance our many different life roles? How do we experience love in relationships, as well as in caring for ourselves?

What wisdom have we gained throughout our life experiences, including our individual cancer journeys? What wisdom have we gained from others? How do we share our wisdom with others?
