Perini Family Survivors' Center
Advances in our understanding of cancer, and in our ability to detect and treat it, have led to greater survival rates. But experts have learned that sometimes cancer survival comes with a price and that, for many, life is never quite the same.
Today, there are more than 9 million cancer survivors in the United States, and millions more who have been touched by the disease as family members and friends. The Perini Family Survivors' Center has several programs in place to address the long-term physical and emotional needs of cancer survivors, and to offer them the tools to live as fully as possible.

Clinical Services for Survivors
It is important to us at Dana-Farber to provide our patients with a continuum of care. After they have completed their treatment and routine follow-up care, cancer survivors can continue to receive excellent clinical care at one of our three survivor clinics. The David B. Perini, Jr. Quality of Life Clinic has been providing multi-disciplinary care to childhood cancer survivors since 1993; the Stop & Shop Neuro-Oncology Outcomes Clinic has long been a special place for survivors of pediatric brain tumors; and the newly established Lance Armstrong Foundation Adult Survivorship Clinic provides a range of clinical options for survivors of adult-onset cancers.
