Living Proof: Celebrating Survivorship
June 14-17, 2010

Living Proof logo

Living Proof: Celebrating Survivorship is an annual event held at Dana-Farber each June in conjunction with National Cancer Survivors Day.

Sponsored by the Perini Family Survivors' Center, the weeklong event is for cancer survivors of all ages, and their family members, honoring the challenge and journey of cancer survivorship.

Free Workshops

This year's event will feature several programs and events, including free workshops for cancer survivors and their loved ones, covering topics such as nutrition, sexual health, and integrative therapies (which includes yoga, acupuncture, massage, and more). We'll update this page with more specific details as the event gets closer.

Celebration Event

Capping off the weeklong event, Dana-Farber will host a survivorship celebration on Thursday, June 17, featuring keynote speaker Massachusetts state Rep. Martin J. Walsh and other guest speakers, all sharing their stories of survivorship.

The celebration, which includes a catered reception immediately following the speaking portion of the program, will start at 6:30 p.m. in the Jimmy Fund Auditorium at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
