Dana-Farber offers a wide array of programs for survivors of adult onset cancers, including:
Facing Forward after Cancer Treatment
Sponsored by the Gillette Company Survivors Initiative, Facing Forward After Cancer Treatment is a six-session series for women who will be completing treatment in the next 4 — 6 weeks or who have recently completed treatment in the past 3 — 4 months for breast cancer. The series is offered twice a year and is facilitated by clinical social workers, with some invited speakers on relevant topics.

Young Survivors Support Group
Supported by the Gillette Company Survivors Initiative, the Young Survivors Support Group is open to women, age 45 and under, who are at least six months out of active treatment for breast or gynecologic cancers. The group meets monthly for lunch and discussion of common concerns and issues. This group is peer-led, in consultation with a clinical social worker.

Stepping Stones Support Group
The Stepping Stones Support Group is for adults who have undergone bone marrow or peripheral blood stem cell transplant and their significant others. This on-going group is held monthly and is facilitated by a registered nurse and a clinical social worker.

Beyond Cancer: Celebrating Survivorship
The Gillette Company Survivors Initiative is proud to support this annual conference devoted to the medical and psychosocial needs of women surviving breast and gynecologic cancers. Beyond Cancer: Celebrating Survivorship provides updates on the newest treatment options; advice on coping with menopause, sexuality and intimacy; and guidance about the challenges of returning to one's life after cancer. In addition, the event allows women the opportunity to connect with others with similar experiences.
