Living Proof: Celebrating Survivorship
Living Proof: Celebrating Survivorship is an annual event designed to bring together survivors of all ages and their family members to honor the struggle and the journey to cancer survivorship. Sponsored by the Perini Family Survivors' Center, this event recognizes National Cancer Survivors Day in June. Approximately 200 people attended the 2008 event.
This year's event will feature Kelley Tuthill from News Center 5, WCVB Boston, as keynote speaker, along with other speakers who will share their stories of survivorship. The event will take place June 18, 2009, at 6:30 p.m. with a gala reception immediately following.
