Survivorship Education, Support and Resources

Programs and Services for Survivors of Pediatric Brain Tumors

When families visit the Outcomes Clinic, they may meet with psychosocial staff members to talk about the frustration and guilt some people experience about the effects of treatment. Dana-Farber staff can also help families find resources near their homes.

The Clinic holds patient and parent support groups throughout the year. In addition, a half-day symposium is held once a year in which experts from Dana-Farber and the community address the issues faced by survivors of brain tumors during their transition from school to life.

Sexual Health

Sharon Bober, PhD, director of the Perini Center's Sexual Health Program, discusses intimacy issues with a patient.

Dana-Farber's Sexual Health Program provides practical and emotional support to cancer survivors with post-treatment sexual difficulties.

Survivorship Research

The Perini Family Survivors' Center Office of Research is dedicated to improving quality of life after cancer through education and treatment studies.
