Resources and Services

Resources and services provided by the Office for Postdoctoral Training and Career Development include:

• career development materials;
• consultation meetings (by appointment) for prospective postdocs;
• one-on-one mentoring (by appointment) for job search assistance;
• Postdoc Lounge (books, videos, music); and
• computer workstations (wireless connection coming soon).

Postdoc Lounge (347 Smith Building)

The Postdoc Lounge serves as a quiet place to take a break from lab work and converse with fellow postdocs. You'll also find here some fun perks and resources, including:

• refreshments such as coffee, soda and snacks;
• a TV/video/stereo system (when was the last time you saw Wayne's World?);
• a lending library stocked with newspapers, books, videos and CDs; and
• a reference library filled with career development information.
