Public Transportation to Dana-Farber

Dana-Farber is easily accessible by the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA), which offers buses and a train/subway system known as the "T."

MBTA Train/Subway Lines

Green Line (Riverside "D" branch)

Get off at the Longwood stop, walk to the left (up a hill), on Chapel Street. Turn left on Longwood Avenue. At second light, turn right on Brookline Avenue to find Dana-Farber (located at 450 Brookline Ave.).

Green Line (Heath Street "E" branch)

Get off at the Longwood Medical Area stop. Walk west on Longwood Avenue, passing Harvard Medical School and Boston Children's Hospital. Turn left on Brookline Avenue and proceed to Dana-Farber, on your left.

Orange Line (Ruggles Station)

Take the Orange Line to Ruggles Station, then board one of the MBTA buses listed below.

Commuter Rail

Commuter rail stops closest to Dana-Farber are: Back Bay, Lansdowne, North Station, Ruggles, and South Station. From these stops, you can take an MBTA subway or bus to Dana-Farber.

Bus stop is at the corner of Longwood Avenue and Binney Street, in front of The Coop bookstore.Walk one block up Longwood Avenue, to Brookline Avenue, then turn left to find Dana-Farber.

#39 Back Bay to Forest Hills

Bus stop is at corner of Huntington Avenue and Longwood Avenue.Walk up Longwood Avenue, passing Harvard Medical School and Boston Children's Hospital. Turn left on Brookline Avenue and proceed to Dana-Farber.

#65 Kenmore Station to Brighton Center

Bus stop is at the corner of Brookline Avenue and Longwood Avenue, across from a CVS pharmacy. Dana-Farber is at 450 Brookline Ave., on the same side of the street as the CVS pharmacy.

#66 Harvard Square to Dudley Station

Bus stop is at Brigham Circle.Walk up Francis Street, passing Brigham andWomen's Hospital. Turn right on Brookline Avenue and proceed to Dana-Farber, on your right.
