Valet parking is available at no extra charge at all Dana-Farber locations where valet service is offered. Parking attendants can also help you with wheelchairs and similar assistance. See below for reduced parking rates for patients at our Yawkey Center for Cancer Care.

At our main campus in the Longwood Medical Area, Dana-Farber's parking garage is open weekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and during clinic hours on weekends and holidays. The garage entrance is on Jimmy Fund Way.

Parking or Dropping Off a Patient

You can enter Dana-Farber's parking garage to self-park, valet park, or drop off a patient. You will not be charged for parking if you are only dropping someone off and then leaving.

Take a ticket from the automated machine as you enter the parking garage. Keep this ticket with you, because you will need to have it validated when you check in for your appointment. You will also need it when you pay for parking (or when you exit the garage at no charge after dropping off a patient).

After you enter the parking ramp, turn right if you want to use valet parking or drop someone off. Turn left to self-park. There is no additional charge for valet parking.

Please Use the Parking Garage to Drop Off or Pick Up a Patient

When you drive a patient to an appointment at Dana-Farber, please enter Dana-Farber’s parking garage on Jimmy Fund Way and go to level P1. As mentioned above, you will not be charged any parking fees for dropping off or picking up, and we have staff on level P1 to help patients safely get to their appointments.

Entering Dana-Farber’s parking garage to drop off and pick up reduces traffic backups on Jimmy Fund Way, improves traffic flow on Brookline Ave., and ensures a safe location where patients can get in and out of vehicles. It typically takes just a few minutes to enter and exit the garage when picking up or dropping off.

I was blown away by the parking staff and process during the pandemic. I was getting daily radiation treatment, and a "cast of thousands" greeted us each day with smiles, waving, and pointing the way to the designated parking for radiation. Then more staff opened the door from the garage to the "touchless" path to radiation … [this] allowed me to start each day feeling safe, cared for, and in the hands of knowledgeable professionals.
