Nutrition Tip

Both apples and cranberries are excellent sources of Vitamin C, fiber, and several beneficial phytonutrients. Vitamin C and certain phytonutrients in cranberries, specifically proanthocyanidins, can act as antioxidants.

The fiber in these muffins, from the apples, cranberries, flax seed, and oats, may provide additional health benefits. Including an adequate amount of fiber in your diet can help with bowel irregularities and weight management, as well as aid in the prevention of cardiovascular disease and certain cancers.
