Tobey Oresman's involvement with Dana-Farber began in l975, when she was a patient. Tobey joined the Friends'' in l984 and has been a very active volunteer. She has been vice president of fundraising, chair of the Friends Cookbook Committee, co-chair of the P.A.R.T. Golf Tournament and has also served on the Art Committee and the Nominating Committee. Presently, Tobey is co-chair of the 2007 Friends' Gala.
In addition to her work with the Friends, Tobey helped start the "Kids Can Cook" after school program and has participated in its development during the past ten years. Tobey's interests include collecting contemporary art, cooking and golf.
She says, "The Friends has been a very worthwhile experience and involvement for me. I most like the volunteerism and our ability to allocate our own funds."
