Kathleen McDaniel named Senior Vice President, Chief People Officer at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute

    Kathleen (Kate) McDaniel will become Senior Vice President, Chief People Officer at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute effective February 3, 2020.  She is a proven leader with a demonstrated track record of long-term strategic workforce development and a strong commitment to people development, diversity and inclusion, and employee engagement.

    McDaniel brings more than 25 years of global human resource leadership experience to this role having held positions at well-known, complex and highly respected global organizations, including most recently at Harvard Medical School, where she has served as Chief Human Resources Officer. Her experience also includes senior positions at Fidelity Investments, where she served as SVP, Human Resources for the Personal Investing Group and Johnson & Johnson, where she was Worldwide Vice President, Human Resources for DePuy Synthes, J&J’s $10 billion medical device company. She’s also led the Human Resources function at Haemonetics Corporation, and managed Human Resources for 12 years at subsidiaries of FleetBoston Financial.

    McDaniel has a Bachelor of Science, Industrial Relations, from LeMoyne College (Syracuse, NY).
