Pan-Mass Challenge
Left: In 1990, the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) raised $1.3 million for Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund. Billy Starr, PMC founder and executive director, and a Dana-Farber Trustee is holding the check on the right.
Right: In 2021, the PMC raised an astonishing $64 million, the largest amount in its history, bringing the lifetime total to an incredible $831 million. Billy Starr is on left. Since the PMC's founding in 1980, more than 100,000 riders have pedaled with a common goal: to find a cure for cancer.
