Pasi Jänne, MD, PhD, received his MD and PhD degrees from the University of Pennsylvania in 1996. He completed postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital and in Medical Oncology at Dana-Farber in 2001.
Jänne's main research interests include studying the therapeutic relevance of oncogenic alterations in lung cancer. He was one of the co-discoverers of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations, and has led the development of therapeutic strategies
for patients with EGFR-mutant lung cancer.

Cathleen Power, MSN, APRN-BC, received a bachelor's degree in the science of nursing from Georgetown University in 1998. She received a master's degree in Adult Primary Care from Simmons College in 2008. She has worked as an oncology nurse since 1998
in various settings. She has been practicing as a nurse practitioner in the Thoracic Oncology Program at Dana-Farber since 2009.
Icandace Woods

Icandace Woods graduated from Lesley University and earned her bachelor's degree in Human Services with a specialization in Social Work. She has been working in health care for over 16 years and is very passionate about making a difference in the lives
of others and impacting the community.
Woods recently returned to the Institute after having worked in several Dana-Farber roles, including Program Coordinator for the Young & Strong Program and Team Lead for the Clinical Administrative Supportive Specialists in the Jimmy Fund Clinic, having
attained several placements through Dana-Farber's Workforce Development Program that provides hands-on training to inner city students. During Woods' three years away from Dana-Farber, she held management positions at both Boston Medical Center and
the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
