In these challenging times, we know you may worry about coming to Dana-Farber for an appointment. That's why we want you to know what we're doing to keep you safe.
You entrust us with your care, and we are doing everything possible to provide a safe environment of care. When you come to Dana-Farber, you'll notice a number of changes:
Physical distancing is in place throughout our facility — in elevators, waiting areas, check-in desks, and many other places.
We frequently disinfect all common areas — with deep cleanings of exam rooms, seating areas, restrooms, infusion clinics, dining pavilion, and more.
More sanitizing stations have been installed throughout the facility for hand cleaning.
Face masks are required for all staff and patients.
Fewer people are allowed onsite to create more space and reduce congestion.
Wait times are typically very low, so patients don't need to spend much time in common areas.
Plexiglass barriers have been installed at check-in desks to help prevent exposure.
We'll ask you multiple times before an appointment whether you may have been exposed to COVID-19 or have had any symptoms.
All onsite staff are screened every day for COVID-19 symptoms.
All other persons entering Dana-Farber are screened for COVID-19 symptoms.
Thank you for entrusting your care to us. We are here for you, and now more than ever, you have us.
