Alexis Graham-Stephenson, MD

Dr. Graham-Stephenson earned her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Oklahoma. She completed her general surgery internship at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, followed by an Association for Surgical Education research fellowship in surgical simulation at the Lahey Clinic. She completed her general surgery residency training at the Lahey Clinic, during which she received multiple recognitions for excellence in teaching from Tufts University School of Medicine. Following residency, she completed the Polly Suk-Yee Cheung Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. Graham-Stephenson is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, the Society of Surgical Oncology, the Association for Surgical Education, and the Society for Simulation in Healthcare. Her clinical and research interests include surgical education, management of high-risk breast lesions, invasive lobular carcinoma, groups at increased risk of breast cancer, and breast cancer outcomes and disparities among LGBTQ+ patients.
