Biography
Alice Shaw, MD, PhD
Dr. Shaw is the Chief of Strategic Partnerships at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. She was previously Vice President and Global Head of Translational Clinical Oncology at Novartis. Prior to Novartis, she was the Director of the Center for Thoracic Cancers at MGH, the Paula O’Keeffe Endowed Chair of Thoracic Oncology at MGH, co-leader of the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center (DFHCC) Thoracic Oncology Program, and Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Shaw received her MD and PhD degrees from Harvard Medical School. She did her residency in Internal Medicine at MGH and completed fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at DFHCC. Her areas of expertise include oncogene-driven lung cancers such as ALK- and ROS1-positive lung cancer, resistance to targeted therapies, and experimental therapeutics.
