Biography
MacLean Sellars, MD, PhD
MacLean Sellars, MD, PhD is a Medical Oncologist and an active translational and clinical researcher in the Gynecologic Oncology Program in the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's Susan F. Smith Center for Women's Cancers. MacLean completed a PhD in molecular biology at the University of Strasbourg (France), followed by post-doctoral research at New York University where he studied basic developmental mechanisms in immune cells. Following a family experience with gynecologic malignancies, he decided to pursue medicine, attending medical school at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and subsequently completing residency in internal medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He joined Dana Farber as a medical oncology fellow in 2020, focusing on gynecologic malignancies. His laboratory and translational research focuses on cancer vaccine development and understanding fundamental mechanisms of immune surveillance in ovarian cancer.
