Dr. Shveta Motwani, MD, MMSc, FASN is a board-certified Nephrologist and specializes in seeing kidney, hypertension or electrolyte disorders in patients with cancer which may be a pre-existing problem, a result of their cancer or its treatment. She trained in Nephrology at the Brigham and Women’s and Massachusetts General Hospital combined program in Nephrology and further at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Onco-Nephrology. During her fellowship, she obtained further training in clinical and translational investigation with Masters in Medical Science from Harvard Medical School. She is an Instructor of Medicine at the Harvard Medical School and splits her time between patient care at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and research in Onco-Nephrology. She has been inducted to Fellowship of the American Society of Nephrology which honors members of the Society who have distinguished themselves through excellence in practice or research.
