Betsy Cohen was raised in Andover, Massachusetts and enjoys spending her free time helping others. She is a volunteer 'Wish Granter' with The Make-A-Wish Foundation, a service guide dog trainer for the blind/autistic/police K9 programs with Guiding Eyes for the Blind, and a concert violist who has performed with multiple symphony orchestras.
Betsy obtained her graduate degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnology from the University of Massachusetts. She pursued a career in drug discovery and oncology laboratory research prior to becoming a successful business executive in the biopharmaceutical industry.
In her free time, Betsy enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and various outdoor adventures. She is passionate about volunteering, and is very grateful for the opportunity to join the Friends of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
