Betsy Cohen is a successful executive in the biopharmaceutical industry who enjoys spending her free time volunteering, traveling, and performing as a concert violist. She is a volunteer Wish Granter with the "Make-A-Wish Foundation," an active member of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA Boston Chapter), a former service guide dog trainer for "Guiding Eyes for the Blind," and a concert violist who has performed with various symphony orchestras — most recently at the Perkins School for the Blind and at Boston’s Symphony Hall. She is passionate about volunteering and is very grateful for the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors of the Friends of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Betsy obtained her graduate degrees in biomedical engineering and biotechnology from the University of Massachusetts. She pursued a career in drug discovery and oncology research prior to moving into the medical and business side of industry.
