Heather Gelchion is a Managing Director at Cambridge Associates and a member of the private client practice group. Cambridge Associates is a global investment firm that works with endowments and foundations, pensions, private clients, governments, as well as insurance companies to manage custom investment portfolios. Based out of Boston, Heather works with private clients in the U.S. and Europe that range in size from $100 million to over $2 billion. Heather is responsible for portfolio oversight, including asset allocation, manager structure and selection and risk management. Heather also Co-founded Prevail at Cambridge Associates, a network that enables outstanding women - investors, business owners, entrepreneurs and philanthropist – the opportunity to share their experiences, insights and resources.
Prior to joining Cambridge Associates in 2005, Heather worked at Standard and Poor's as an Associate Ratings Analyst in the Structured Finance Group. In this position, she primarily rated asset-backed securities, including mortgage-backed and auto loan transactions. Previously, Heather worked as an Investment Banker at Adams Harkness, Inc. where she began her career as a Financial Analyst and later served as an Associate. As an Associate, she worked on a wide-variety of equity financings and merger and acquisitions within the consumer products industry.
Heather previously served as Secretary of the Brown University Club of Boston. She serves as a mentor to current Brown University students, as well as young professionals at Cambridge Associates.
