Kim Fauria was born in Boston and raised in Canton, MA.
She attended Framingham State University and Mass College of Art and Design and received a degree in Merchandising and Design. Kim worked as a buyer for HomeGoods. After having her first child, Kim decided to start her own Company, KJ Designs & Importing. KJ Designs is a direct-to-retail home textiles and home decor business, selling direct to major retail companies around the U.S., Europe, and Canada. This year Kim and KJ Designs made it on Inc. Magazine's Top 5000 List.
Kim recently built and launched a direct-to-consumer web-based brand, website, and social media marketplace platform for tavéhome.com. Kim will be donating 5% of all sales from TAVÉ to The Friends, as well as designing special items throughout the year in which 100% of profit sales will be donated to The Friends.
Last October, Friends board member and one-time coworker, Andrea Segel, asked Kim to help with tablescapes for the In the Bag event. Seeing the support and impact after attending this event, coupled with the loss of a very dear friend this past May, Kim felt more motivated than ever to be a part of this wonderful organization.
Kim currently resides in Foxboro, MA with her husband Christian and three children: Jake, Emmerson, and Hadley.
